First of all, Lily Tomlin is in her finest form in this film. The comedy is really enjoyable and the storyline very funny. '9 to 5' (1980) marked the acting debut of country singer Dolly Parton, who is considerably good, and she joins up with veterans Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in what is a highly enjoyable comedy - I was pleasantly surprised.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 29, 2019

Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 13, 2019 I need not discuss the film as it has all been said: it is brilliant! 9 to 5 is a brilliantly executed, classic comedy about three ladies, deftly played by Fonda, Parton and Tomlin, seizing the opportunity to give their despicable boss, the equally wonderful Coleman, a taste of his own medicine.

I'm a big fan of all 3 leading ladies and even without the funny storyline, wonderfully slimy boss and FABULOUS 70/80s style officewear, it would be a pleasure to watch.
